Naming Ceremonies

There's nothing quite like the joy that a child brings. While traditionally this may be when a child is born, a naming ceremony is an ideal way to mark a new chapter in your lives.

During my time as a Baptist Minister I led countless Dedication services, much like a Christening but with the signing with oil rather than the pouring of water. A naming ceremony is similar to this but focuses on the family and the joy of new life. Many families still want the opportunity to have those who are close to them make promises too, a bit like God parents would. We can also include siblings, grandparents and others who are close to you within the ceremony if you would like.

My role as we discuss your naming ceremony together is to listen to your heart so that we can craft a unique and memorable day for all the family.

Welcoming Ceremonies

A welcoming ceremony differs a little to a naming ceremony and can be used to mark a special occasion such as adoption or the joining of two families together. It can be the ideal way to celebrate a significant life event with those closest to you and we will work together to create a bespoke ceremony that you can treasure and remember.
